About the Event

The Psychedelic Networking Group is a place for psychedelic professionals, researchers, healers, facilitators, practitioners, students, and activists to gather and connect on their shared passion for psychedelics. We hope to provide a safe container where everyone is welcome to come exchange ideas, contact information, and intellectual conversation. You do not need to be a psychedelic professional in order to attend, but we at least ask that you be working in connection to the space somehow.

**** GET TICKETS HERE!  Tickets are a suggested donation between $1-$25. Proceeds will go towards supporting the Psychedelic Access Fund’s mission.

What You Gain:

  • Meet other professionals in the space
  • Find possible collaborators & partners
  • Bounce ideas around and/or gain advice
  • Gain supporters or give support to others
  • Learn about the importance of BIPOC reciprocity and access

Each networking event will include a 15 minute presentation on a topic relating to psychedelics. The remaining time will be dedicated to open discussion/networking. We will be utilizing breakout rooms on Zoom to facilitate small group discussions and the ability to meet new people in several different Zoom rooms.

Our presenter this month will be Lorien Chaves from Chacruna Institute. Chcruna Institute mission is to promote reciprocity in the psychedelic community, and support the protection of sacred plants and cultural traditions. They advance psychedelic justice through curating critical conversations and uplifting the voices of women, queer people, Indigenous peoples, people of color, and the Global South in the field of psychedelic science. Lorien will be discussing the importance of BIPOC reciprocity and access within the psychedelic space.

About the Psychedelic Access Fund

This event is hosted by the Psychedelic Access Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to removing the financial barriers to psychedelic healing. We believe that psychedelic healing should be accessible to all, regardless of their ability to pay for it. We accomplish this by sponsoring individuals for healing opportunities and advocating for access within the psychedelic ecosystem. We hope that the psychedelic professionals network will facilitate collaboration and ultimately, bring more healing to more people who need it.

About our Speaker:

Lorien Chavez is the Social Strategy and Communications Officer for the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. Currently based out of New Mexico, she received her bachelor’s in Neuropsychology and Biology and is passionate about the research and use of sacred plant medicines as a tool for generational epigenetic healing. She has been motivated to look deeper into how psychedelics may aid in the process of remapping our minds and nervous systems, and is eager to do it in a way that remains respectful and celebratory of the traditions these medicines are rooted in. Her priority as she steps into these spaces is to ensure that the voices of Indigenous and marginalized communities are heard and respected.
